Application Pipeline
Manage your candidates through a structured hiring pipeline, AI-powered match scores, and comprehensive tracking.
Overview
The application pipeline in Hifinity helps you organize and track candidates as they move through your hiring process. Each application is associated with a specific job and progresses through defined stages from initial application to final decision.
Pipeline Stages
Applications progress through these standard stages:
Initial Application
New applications from candidates who applied through your careers page or were manually added. This is where AI match scoring begins analyzing resume fit.
Resume & Initial Review
Candidates being reviewed based on their resume and initial qualifications. Use this stage to shortlist promising candidates for interviews.
Active Interviewing
Candidates who have been sent AI interview invitations or are scheduled for live interviews. Track interview completion and AI evaluation scores here.
Offer Extended
Candidates who have received a job offer and are pending acceptance. Use this stage to track offer negotiations and responses.
Successfully Hired
Candidates who accepted the offer and are now employees. This marks the successful completion of the hiring process.

Additional Statuses
Beyond the main pipeline, applications can also have these statuses:
Not Selected
Candidates who did not meet requirements or were not selected
Self-Withdrawn
Candidates who withdrew their application or accepted another offer
Historical Record
Past applications kept for records but no longer active
AI Match and Interview Scoring
Each application displays two key AI-generated scores to help you evaluate candidates:
Match Score
Measures how well the candidate's resume fits the job requirements. This score is calculated by analyzing skills, experience, education, and qualifications against the job description.
Based on: Resume vs Job Requirements
Avg. Interview Score
The average score across all AI interviews the candidate has completed for this job application. This reflects their actual performance in answering interview questions.
Based on: All completed interviews for this application
Score Ranges
Both scores use the same color-coded ranges for easy interpretation:
Excellent
Outstanding fit/performance
Good
Strong candidate
Fair
Meets some requirements
Needs Improvement
May lack qualifications
Pro Tip
Use both scores together for a complete picture. A high Match Score with a lower Interview Score may indicate a candidate who looks good on paper but needs development. A lower Match Score with a high Interview Score could reveal a hidden gem with transferable skills.
Filtering Applications
Use filters to quickly find and manage applications:
By Match Score
Focus on high-scoring candidates first
By Interview Score
Filter candidates based on their AI interview performance scores
By Status
Filter to see only applications in specific pipeline stages
By Time Period
Filter by when applications were received (today, this week, this month)
